Anne Wuhrer is a licensed Physical Therapist who completed her Master’s in Science in Physical Therapy at Arcadia University and received her Bachelor in Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University. She has been a Board Certified and Licensed Physical Therapist since 1996. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Anne is a dynamic member of the Industrial Health team using her vast experience in a variety of treatment settings to include Outpatient and Inpatient Orthopedics, Spinal Cord Injury and Neurological Disorders, Orthopedics and Industrial Rehabilitation. Anne has been a clinical instructor and course educator for numerous specialties to include Seating and Mobility assessments, Adaptive Technology, Foot and Ankle disorders, and Lumbosacral and Sacroiliac Dysfunction throughout her 20 year career in the field of Physical Therapy.
Anne is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations. Anne is trained in Integrative Neuromuscular Dry Needling techniques. She uses her comprehensive background to evaluate and facilitate effective treatment for the Injured Worker, perform Work Place Ergonomic Assessments and participate in Adaptive Equipment and Assistive Technology Assessments.
Kelly Smith, PT, DPT
Clinic Manager- Sterling, VA
Dr. Smith graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University. She is a Board Certified and Licensed Physical Therapist and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Virginia Physical Therapy Association (VPTA). Dr. Smith has worked with Workers Compensation cases for over 12 years. She has completed the Functional Capacity Evaluation Certification through Matheson and Associates.
Dr. Smith provides treatments individualized to the specific needs of each injured worker. She has many years of experience in the industrial rehabilitation setting including designing and implementing Work Hardening and Work Conditioning Programs, and evaluating progress and return to work abilities with Functional Capacity Evaluations. With over a decade of physical therapy experience in orthopedics, pregnancy and postpartum care, work simulation, manual therapy, injury prevention, and taping/bracing techniques, Dr. Smith brings a depth of knowledge to the Industrial Health Team.
